Senior Housekeeper – Luxury Hospitality: Aynsome Manor & Cark Manor

Location: Aynsome Manor & Cark Manor, Cartmel, Cumbria
Hours: 45 hours per week over 5 days

Tangerine Leisure is part of the ambitious and fast-growing Tangerine Group. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Housekeeper to join our luxury hospitality team, supporting the stunning Aynsome Manor Hotel and Cark Manor Estate.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring all guest, public and staff areas are presented to the highest possible standards. You'll play a key role in creating outstanding guest experiences, leading by example, supervising housekeeping operations, and maintaining the impeccable presentation expected within a luxury hospitality environment.

The Role

As Senior Housekeeper, you will:

• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and staff facilities are maintained to exceptional standards.

• Lead and support housekeeping teams across both Aynsome Manor and Cark Manor.

• Assist with the training and development of new team members.

• Manage housekeeping supplies, stock control and ordering requirements.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.

• Act as the main point of contact for housekeeping-related queries.

• Work closely with management, suppliers and the local community.

• Support health, safety and compliance standards across both properties.

• Provide weekly operational updates regarding housekeeping requirements and property presentation.

About You

• Has previous housekeeping leadership or supervisory experience within hospitality.

• Possesses exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering outstanding standards.

• Has a luxury service mindset and understands the importance of guest experience.

• Is highly organised with excellent time management skills.

• Communicates confidently with colleagues, guests and management.

• Has knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards within hospitality environments.
