Role Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team and take charge of preparing high-quality breakfast dishes. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional morning dining experience by ensuring food is prepared efficiently, presented beautifully, and served on time.

Mill Farm is the proud home of AFC Fylde Football Team, and you will be the Breakfast Chef to the First Team, providing a key nutritional meal.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the early hours and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Main Duties:

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, including both hot and cold items such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and specialty breakfast items.
• Ensure all meals are prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage prep and cooking stations effectively to ensure smooth breakfast service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen before, during, and after service.
• Monitor stock levels for breakfast items and communicate replenishment needs.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure timely and accurate orders.
• Assist in menu development and suggest new breakfast items as needed.
• Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food waste.

Occasional Duties:

• Support the Head Chef on key events.

Personal Attributes:

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast food preparation and plating techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
• Positive attitude and relationship builder able to build rapport with our players and core chef team.
